Alejandro Picó-Leonís was born in Alicante and
received
his first piano instruction at the age of
seven. After his debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall,
critics praised his “enormous musical seriousness.” For
many years he has been a regular guest at the Vienna
Musikverein and at the Gasteig in Munich, amongst
other venues.
This is his second CD for OehmsClassics after
“Variations” – this time with a renowned and wellknown
Mozart/Beethoven programme.
