In 2003, Latica Honda-Rosenberg was busy giving numerous conerts
world-wide with renownded orchestras. The violinist was on tour, among
others, in Asia and Israel, and opened the concert season of the Czech philharmony
under Vladimir Ashkenazy. Also this year, she became professor at
the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg/Breisgau (Germany). The
extraordinary maturity of this young woman can clearly be heared in this
recording of Sergei Prokofiev’s 5 Melodiesand the Sonatas Nos. 1 & 2.
