Hui He

Chinese soprano Hui He’s international career began after she won Second Prize at Placido Domingo’s Operalia Competition in Los Angeles. She has sung at practically all renowned opera houses in Italy and celebrated triumphs in Bordeaux, London, a number of times at the Vienna State Opera, and of course in her home country, where she has been honored with the highest cultural and political awards. Her affinity for Italian opera is reflected in this portrait, in which she sings some of the most beloved arias by Verdi and Puccini.
