Klais-Orgel, Philharmonie im Gasteig, Munich
The Faust Symphony, first performed in Weimar
in 1857, is one of Franz Liszt’s most
significant compositions. For the recording
of his transcription of this work for organ, Hansjörg
Albrecht played the celebrated Klais organ in
the Philharmonic Hall of the Gasteig, Munich. He
will perform the Faust Symphony in a concert at
the same venue on 13th June 2018, appropriately
during the Faust Festival in the city of Munich.
