The violinist Viktoria Kaunzner and the harpist Anna Viechtl became acquainted during their period of study at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. As stipend holders of „Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now“, they performed concerts together whilst still students and founded the „Duo 47 / 4“. The 47 harp strings and the four violin strings give the Duo its name.

Picturesque works for violin and harp full of contrasts from the 20th and 21st centuries – meditative, imaginative, colourful and loaded with energy. The debut CD Wild Bird by the Duo 47/4 – Music for Violin and Harp.
