Leopold Mozart
Three Piano Sonatas (fortepiano solo)
Three Trios for Harpsichord, Violin and Violoncello (Eisen XI: 1–3)
Christine Schornsheim, fortepiano
Rüdiger Lotter, violin
Sebastian Hess, violoncello
On this recording, Christine Schornsheim plays the original
Johann Andreas Stein fortepiano from the Mozart
House in Augsburg. She has selected renowned
OehmsClassics artists as partners for the world premiere
recordings of the trios: violinist Rüdiger Lotter
and Sebastian Hess playing the baroque violoncello.
The recordings, a co-production with the BR, were
made in October/November 2011 at the Zeughaus
in Augsburg (solo sonatas) and in March 2012 at the
Himmelfahrtskirche in Munich/Sendling (trios).
Together with the German Mozart City of Augsburg,
OehmsClassics is delighted to continue confirming
the reputation of Leopold Mozart.
