Stanislaw Skrowaczewski will be celebrating his incredible
90th birthday on 3 October. To mark this occasion,
OehmsClassics has brought together all the CDs that
he has recorded for the label into a Deluxe Edition.
Lovingly edited, with a high-quality booklet and
many pictures, some of which are previously unknown,
this collection is intended as an homage to a
conductor who, far removed from any star hype, can
look back modestly at 90 years of a more than fulfilled
musician’s life.
The Maestro will be giving guest performances
again in the autumn, including those in Frankfurt
at the Hessian Broadcasting Company and in Japan
around the time of his birthday.
